Band-Aid was looking for marketing ideas to promote a contest.
The Solution:
Noise Digital Creative Director Micheal Milardo came up with the idea of giving away a digital goodie bag in a USB stick shaped like a Band-Aid. I was given the task of mocking up the product.

Capilano University's Interactive Design grad class of 2010 wanted a design that reflected their creativity and imagination. The theme for the class was industrial revolution.
The Solution:
I created a fun illustration that projected the class's love for technology, and their wealth of ideas while staying within the boundries of the project's requirements. The illustration was put on invites, the website, t-shirts, and other promotional materials

The Problem:
Jessica has an out-dated looking website that does not reflect her look, sound or personality. I was charged with giving her an online makeover. The main challenge for me as a designer was that I had no contact with the client (Jessica) and did not know her taste. I created something clean and modern from wireframes provided by the developer; she did not like it.
The Solution:
After consulting with the developer who knew her personally, I revised my design and took the site in a completely different direction. The new design is set to go live in two weeks.

The Problem:
The Center, a provider of integration and job services for recent immigrants, needed a new website that they could update and manage internally with minimal technical expertise. They also wanted a events calendar and a way for people to contact them through their website.
The Solution:
I decided to use Wordpress as a Content Management System because of it's price point and ease of use. The biggest challenge for me was developing the content for the site. The Centre is underfunded and understaffed and did not have the resources to write the content on their own. I decided what content would be included with little supervision and knowledge of the organization.

The Problem:
I had to design something that could be coded in a very short period of time. The project is for a SEO competition at Capilano University. The winner will drive the most traffic to the Interactive Design Lab Website. As a group we decided to use Wordpress as a blogging platform because everyone in the group was familiar with using it. The
Solution:
The site uses few images, and has an appealing colour palette. I tried to focus on using clean typography as opposed to complex graphics to engage the user. I also separated the main content and the sidebars and gave them disparate heights to easily work with wordpress' existing code structure. The final design is more of a collaboration. We did use the mock-up featured here as a base.

The Problem:
Four years ago Third Street Theatre (TST) took over management of The Presentation House (PH). PH had a reputation as a venue for community theatre rather than professional theatre. TST wanted to rebrand PH as a professional venue, and themselves as the resident professional theatre company. To further complicate matters, PH is still available for rental by community groups. TST wanted to use the new website to communicate that PH is primarily a professional theatre house.
The Solution:
Playing with web design convention dictating logo placement, we placed the PH logo at the top right hand side of the page leaving the TST logo as the focal point on the left side. We also made a point to advertise only TST events on the homepage. Furthermore, we made sure that the slogan mentioned that TST was a professional theatre company.
